Outrage, protest against Theresa May as Crucial Brexit vote has been delayed.

“Theresa May has pulled her Brexit vote because she knew it would lose. After two years of negotiations, she has completely failed. What an absolute shambles” Labour party.

British Prime Minister Theresa May has confirmed that a crucial parliamentary vote on Brexit scheduled on Dec. 11 will be delayed, throwing the timeline of Britain’s withdrawal from the E.U. into question.

As it became clear the vote would be “rejected by a significant margin,” she told lawmakers in a statement in the House of Commons, “the government has made the decision to defer the vote.”

Lawmakers had been set to vote on a withdrawal deal agreed last month between Theresa May and E.U. leaders, that would set out the terms of departure scheduled for March 29, 2019. However, many members of parliament or MPs (including some within May’s own Conservative Party) had warned they were unlikely to vote for the deal. News of the delay sent the pound tumbling to a seven-month low against the dollar.
This has raised a lot of outrage from people especially the PM, labour leader who have called for her resignation.

Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt had earlier warned that people would be “shocked and very angry” if any government delayed leaving the EU and it was “certainly not the intention of the government”.

Brexiteer Tory Jacob Rees-Mogg hailed the decision as the right one, but said it would not affect Tuesday’s vote without a U-turn from government.

“I think this government would find it very difficult to remain the government if it went away from what it said in its manifesto and the referendum result,” he told LBC.

The Government has decided Theresa May’s Brexit deal is so disastrous that it has taken the desperate step of delaying its own vote at the eleventh hour. We don’t have a functioning government.

Theresa May is trying to buy herself one last chance to save this deal.
But if she doesn’t secure the changes required then she must make way for those who can. #BrexitVote #BrexitShambles

️ @KirstySNP telling Theresa May some home truths about the utter incompetence of this Tory government and the contempt shown to Scotland throughout the whole #Brexit process.

Theresa May has failed to negotiate Brexit, is in contempt of Parliament and has lost all authority in government. She clings to office but holds no power.

”The PM says in Parliament she will be going back to Europe for amendments to the deal but she told us that’s the only deal. I have no confidence she can deliver”

Theresa May told Parliament last week that her deal was the final deal and could not be renegotiated.

Today, Theresa May tells Parliament it is clear her deal will not succeed and she will put off the vote until she renegotiates. Now or then, Theresa May has lied to Parliament.

I have decided to call #EUCO on #Brexit (Art. 50) on Thursday. We will not renegotiate the deal, including the backstop, but we are ready to discuss how to facilitate UK ratification. As time is running out, we will also discuss our preparedness for a no-deal scenario.

She was hopeless as a Home Secretary, she’s a bloody liability as a Prime Minister.

Theresa May has to go. You don’t need the likes of me to lampoon the tories. This Government is taking the piss out of itself.

Theresa May says she will continue talks with European Union leaders after #BrexitVote deferred, but insists her deal honours result of referendum.
