Manchester United were 2 minutes away from not scoring a goal until Marouane Fellaini came to the rescue with a crappy goal which gave the home side the maximum point needed to qualify for the the last 16 of UCL with 10 points,and a game to spare.

Manchester United might have won, but another abject performance against Young Boys at home.

In another intriguing match Lyon twice took second-half leads before City rescued a 2-2 draw which ensures qualification for the last 16 with one game to spare.

The French side wasted several clear-cut chances before Maxwel Cornet’s lovely finish gave them an early second-half lead.

City defender Aymeric Laporte levelled with a header but Cornet scored again to put Lyon ahead 2-1.
Sergio Aguero ensured City remain in pole position to top the group with header.
City come from behind twice and show their character to draw 2-2 with Lyon. A point against Hoffenheim will ensure top spot in Group F for Pep Guardiola’s men.
