9,420 COVID-19 infections, 186 deaths in SA

JOHANNESBURG – The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Africa has risen to 9,420.

Eight more South Africans have died of the coronavirus, bringing the total to 186.

Seven of the fatalities were in the Western Cape, and one in Kwazulu-Natal.

Just over 324 000 tests have been carried out in the country.
